  • I HATE! when people let cars rot away....

Don't you hate it when people own cars, but just let them sit and rot away? while I was searching for a Festy to buy, before I bought Old Red, There were 2 90-93 Festivas sitting outside a shop(I could tell they had been there a while because of the weeds around them). One was a white engineless automatic w/sunroof!, the other a green 5-spd. I tried to buy the auto one, but the owner said "He would make it into a fence post, before even thinking about selling it" People like this tick me off, if you're not going to do anything with a car, why let it rot away? I would've paid the guy a decent amount of money for it, and fixed it up just like what I'm doing with Old Red.....
Both those cars are probably still there........Idiot!

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

Yeah, sadly thats probably what would've happened to Old Red, IF I hadn't bought it, but I did and it's on it's way back from the dead

Yeah, luckily mine doesn't have too much cancer, but I'm working on getting some patch panels for it, and having a friend weld them on, instead of the fiberglassing/filler I was using before.

I watched one for two years that a little old lady had parked in the garage for ten years, after one day it failed to start,I offered her a good price, but no deal, she finally parted with the Festiva, donated it to the Church!

Give it to the pastor, for his teenage son, to drive!
Or at least that's what happened in the town I grewup in!
Who subsequently, got bust for underage drinking and DWI.
Except the car wasn't a festiva.

Just another way for the church to raise money!
