i'll have pic's tomorrow i just picked up a 1991 festiva (gl) it says gl on the hatch.
it has a rear windshield wiper, automatic seat belts, no rear seat.....(im gonna have to work on that) its a 5 speed, grey interior, non painted bumpers, air conditioning no rust but a few dents in spots..... overall the car's pretty clean and best of all it cost me $50 and 6 cigarettes
i saw it parked behind a storage shed on a concrete pad under a car cover for a few months now. so i knocked on the door and a lady came to the door and said it was her daughters old car they took it off the road 6 months ago due to her getting a new car.
I agreed to come back and meet with he husband a few hours later when he returned from work.
when i got there we talked for a while about the car and pulled the cover off (thre he bummed cigg #1) and it fired right up. we talked about its value for a few minutes and lt it idle and went threw the lights (he bummed cigg #2) he explained his daughter has a new car and they have no use for it and he ook me for a ride in it.(where he bummed cigg #3 and #4)
he let me drive it back and it rode and acted perfectly. i got under itand was supprised to see no rust anywhere and thats when i asked him how much. he thought or a few minutes and said give m $50 and 2 more smokes (#5 and #6) and we'll call it even.
i handed him the cash and 2 smokes ad ran home for my trailer.
