$1000 for one from a junkyard? With a bad engine? You would think they know they are sitting on a goldmine or something. The sad part is that if someone doesn't snag it, even at that price, it will probably be crushed into a cube before long.

yeah, a G spot is a wee bit high... I got my 93GL from a local scrap yard, with a good 93 1.3L engine already swapped in (Original locked up due to massive oil leak) for $500. No rust, A/C, auto, rear wiper, no evidence of collision.

I asked how firm they were on price and was told "the car is $1000" so I am not sure if money talks or what. Som people will not budge.

I really really really REALLY want this car. About to start working about 100 hours a week so I can go get it. Ill throw a b6 in it and call it a day.
