  • Thanks Mr. Casper!

I went to the junkyard yesterday in search for a new hood for Casper. The last time I was there, they had a 90+ in white, sitting with body colored bumpers and a nice dent-free hood. Well, that car was gone this time, so I opted for the next best looking one. It's red, but it'll work.

Then we hit an 89 that was in AMAZING shape inside. The interior was spotless! I mean, pristine condition... Including the headliner, which I removed.

I found the wararnty card and it was signed by a Mr. Andrew Casper. I took it along, since DJ had named my white Festiva "Casper", it was just a sweet reminder of what I've got.

No... There was nothing special in the car, aside from the minty looking interior. (And in fact, I don't ever remember seeing the seats in the color that these were), but I haven't seen all that many 88/89's that weren't LX's with the special interior sets.

The JY did have a Festy that at one time has a spoiler... But it was gone before I got there. :\

if we are thinking of the same yard in pa that starts with an H, i know about that spoiler car you are talking about. i was there the day that car came in and watched as a guy finished taking the spoiler off. i was PO'd to say the least. i don`t recall any that had a clean interior. are the seats still there? any tears in them?
