  • Olive Drab Festiva?

anybody on here have a festiva painted olive drab brown? or anybody ever used the hot rod flatz paint listed on ebay? i`m debating on what color the new festy will be, and i'd like something unique (although white does hide things nicely) please post pics if possible. olive drab with satin black wheels, rocker panels, and bumpers should look pretty mean.

Zinc Chromate is kinda unique too!

i've actually never heard of that until now, but i googled it. zinc chromate green looks pretty sharp, simular to olive drab green, but i could only find it in a rattle can.

I've seen a few cars painted with the flat paints that do look really good. Personally I prefer shiny....

Lime green like my guitar and sig Olive drab are my favorite colors. I've been wearing olive drb since the eighties. I'm wearing it now. From my google search it looks like Zinc Chromate is yellow or green not just one color. The green I saw was freakin hot!!!

This color is right to me. REAL right.

thanks for the comments guys, i`m really considering it. i wanted to do satin or matte black too, but from what i read its a real pain to keep it looking good. if you try rubbing out any kind of blemishes, the paint will get shiny spots in it.

carbonvmax, i actually am wearing a olive drab jacket right now lol.

I'm clicking on it thinking no way flat blue will look good. But that does look tasty.

We use zinc chromate all the time as primer on aluminum sheet metal parts being installed on aircraft. It is supposed to ensure that the aluminum does not corrode under the paint.
