Does anyone know a place to purchase a Distributor for 96 Chevy Trk 350? Dealer wants $340.00, found one on e-bay for $89.95, the fact that there is such a large difference in price makes me a little nervous. The seller had about 3000 ratings which majority were excellent. Do you think I should try used for this type of part?

If the seller has that kind of positive reputation, then I would not feel uncomfortable buying the eBay one, as long as he states whether it is new or used.

if you pay with paypal, and their is a problem after the sale, and you can't solve it between you and seller, paypal will help you. But you need to ask all kinds of questions about the object before you buy, it helps and keep the answers in your email box. But his ratings tell a lot about the guy and if he has that many, he wants to keep his ratings good.

autozone, pep boys, checkers, napa, etc. they should have rebuilt ones or check summit. good luck.

and i wouldnt go for a used part unless you can test it and return it if its bad.
