The Ford Festiva is a superior machine to the 323. Having numerous street races with 323s, I can quite confidently say that there is no 323 on the street that can beat my Festiva.
A well-tuned Festiva is so effective in racing because of it's weight. If you remove the seats and other heavy items, it will out accelerate any stock Mustang. If you go ahead and put in a 323 GTX engine and tranny - a Festiva will corner better than an STI.
Ever heard of the SHOgun? Super high output V6 put into a Festiva in a MR setup. Jay Leno says it's one of his favorite cars to drive.
There's a reason nobody's done something like that with the 323. It sucks.
he seems to know about B6T swaps, so i said highly modded just in case he has a B6T festiva, if he only owns a stock festiva then he would really be put to shame
1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor
1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)
If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?
That guy is a tool. The only thing Festys have on 323s is the lower weight.
323 is the superior car by far due to its easy of engine swap, irs, beefier suspension and chassis, and the freaking sweet v6 bolts right in.
Festys are just fun cars to tool around in and surprise people with. They can also handle quite decently with suspension swaps and get peppy with engine swaps.
you all know that was posted may 2007 right? old thread. im sure it was just some one wanting to stir up some poo.
yeah, we don't want to be held accountable for this guy...
