If you were going to buy a NEW car, what would it be?

With a somewhat realistic amount of money (read: no supercars or Rolls-Royces) I would buy a 09 Lincoln Town Car in Black. Quiet, Comfortable, Powerful and the last full size, rear wheel drive, body-on-frame car made in North America. Sure the average Town Car owner is probably close to 50+ years older than me but they are onto something.

The question (for me anyway) needs a price point to help answer. I know that this year I would like to get a Kia Rio5 for a daily driver. Money no object car would be an Aston Martin Vantage. Would love to get a Volvo 122 also. And of course another (non-rusty) Festiva.

I would not buy a new car even if i had the money. I'd buy me a 55,56,or 57 chevy already fixed up or another old classic. New cars nowadays don't compare to the older classics. The older cars had class, and design. Anyway, thats how i feel

money no object? It's not new, but new-ish... a 2005 Ford GT in Gulf colors (baby blue and orange)

Hey Jim, I used to live right across the river from the big Gulf Research Lab in Harmar, PA, right near the turnpike. I remember they had a GIANT neon Gulf sign in the Gulf colors, that would flash on and off in sequence. Very cool. I had thought about making my Festy in Gulf colors.
