I have always liked Ford, and have liked just about every vehicle that they have made, and I hugely like the new Focus, and the new F150.

seriously? i guess at 15 you haven`t had a chance to own many other vehicles yet.. name any post-1975 ford/lincoln/mercury to me and i will tell you a common problem that vehicle had. one problem they have all had is resale ability and value, and many are just plain ugly. good thing festivas aren`t really fords lol.

If so, I have a 2008 Ford Focus Coupe.

Do you think the resell value will greatly drop when the new model comes out?
The current Focus is only a reskin of the 1st gen car. Europe got the 2nd gen car in '07, but was deemed to expensive to retool in the US for the 2nd gen, based on profit per unit. We're getting the 3rd gen with Europe in 2012.

You know they were one & the same like in the early 80's under AMC. When renault bought a large share of AMC, their AM general brand was sold off because the US government would not allow a foreign government to own a significant portion of an important defense supplier(renault is owned by the french Goverment) who was making the US's new replacement for the jeep the HMMWV known as humvee.

Yet AMC owned jeep till AMC was bought by Mother mopar in '87.
