  • everything I know about festivas.....

If you kill a festiva its because you tried .... REAL hard. I have had some real nice cars over my 47 years, muscle cars, expensive stuff but nothing beats the bang to for the buck as a festiva... unless you try to do some crazy RWD swap.

Granted if you are a "20 year old know it all " ( not refering to anyone on this page mind you ) it still may not get you laid but then again you are missing the whole point of owning a festiva.

So if you are that insucure that you cant be seen in one..... SORRY ABOUT YOUR LUCK, again not refering to anyone on this page.
    money pit

No spitters were I work, you swallow it all. The Company feels if you already have it in your mouth why waste it.

Everything I know about festivas is constantly growing... seems I can learn something new all the time... I love my festiva, I can haul almost anything in it and not worry about it... granted I will admit if money was no object I would be rolling in something a little more classy but you know what I am happy with a festiva that I don't have payments on every month, and I can run around all month on $30 worth of gas...

So my opinion is the Festiva is a great useful vehicle that can take crap and abuse, and keep going... gotta love it...

I haven't really learned anything from the Festiva other than stuff I already knew.

      1. I like small cars.
      2. I don't like big cars.
      3. Why should I care what everyone else wants me to drive?
      4. I don't like niche cars. (Ex. all my friends are Supra fanatics, I really don't like Supras.)
      5. You have to absolutely love a car to build one.
      Current cars:

1993 Ford Festiva 5-Speed - Festiclese III - Cousin of the Banhammer - "The Jalopnik Car"
      1984 Toyota Cressida - 2JZGE Swap, Turbocharged.
2013 Mazda Mazda2 - Exhaust and Wheels (the daily)
      2002 Toyota Tundra - V6/Auto/2WD - The Tow Vehicle.
