  • This thing needs to be hooked up!

When I bought my Festiva, the owner told me *something* needed to be replaced for the A/C to work again. I don't remember what he told me. I took pictures of what he ziptied, so it wouldn't hang down. Can someone tell me what I need?

That goes to you ac compressor if I'm not mistaken. I can't tell from your photos if you have a compressor. Should be located beneath the intake hose, down where your belts are. The compressor mounts on the motor at the front of the car. Will have a pulley.

I believe there is a special bolt that goes through that hose end into the compressor.

Ebay has compressors all the time, but you'll need more than the compressor. It's not good to run with that hose open the elements. Have the system flushed and refilled before you try to run the AC.
