  • Heading West for Rust Free Parts and Cars

I'm going on vacation. Enroute to and fro, Laura has given me permission to hit jys. I will be calling them in advance, if they have a Festy or Aspire SE, I'm stopping for a very quick look over. If nothing there, I'm outta there. If there is something you want me to keep my eye out for, let me know what it is and the price you are willing to pay. I know the Captain Obvious parts to look for, spoilers, underseat trays, power steering setups, swoopies, etc. Feel free to pm me.

If you are passing through Spokane, drop me a line.

Spokane is cluttered with Festivas. I see dozens of them everywhere, and most of them aren't repeats.

Also the Pull n Save just added one to their inventory; I will be scoping it out on Saturday.

          Hey Tim,
I'm heading to Missoula. I know that is a bit of a stretch for you, but if you can meet me there, that'd be super cool!

          Hey ejp,
As of right now, I have nothing on my calendar pointing my Festy grill south. Though that can change at a moment's notice with me. Heck, I'd like to head your way because the furthest south I have been is Pea Ridge Ark, and that is right near the Missouri border. Lovely scenery if I remember correctly.

In my searches, I'm going to keep an eye out for rust-free sheetmetal in the yellow, aqua, and the real pretty bright blue colors.....and of course, black and charcoal gray. Those seem to be the hardest ones to find, in my experiences with jys.

Input for everybody's needs would be helpful.

I'm going to log, where and what I find, so that, if need be, I can make a 2nd trip to grab more parts. My goal is to find 2 rust-free cars, pulling one back on my vacation, and the 2nd car becomes an excuse to go back! My cousin already said I can store them at his mansion in the mountains. He said he has already found several to go look at. I am excited!!!

Will take alot of pics to document our travels and treasures!
