  • BP or BPT?

I know a guy selling a bp from a escort gt for $300. he said it was running and will give me new gasket set too. There is a JDM motor place that has a BPT for $600 with a tested motor with a guarantee. They are both just motors, not harnes or ecu. I got a grand to spend on it . so i can buy the BP and wait for a pay day or 2 and do the swap, or i can buy the BP and just do it now.

What should i do? BP or BPT?

you can still use a escort gt ecu with a apexi AFC or they always pop up at clubprotege.com or get a standalone

You'll have to get creative with the turbo placement, but besides that 6hundy for a BPT is a steal. Take it before someone else does.
Why no, officer. I don't know how fast I was going. My speedometer only goes up to 85...

Every car I have owned has had a turbo in it, until I bought this latest festiva.. I plan to fix that though.

                          It's 6/7ths of 2 Treefiddy's or a rough equation...

                          0.857142(Treefiddy•2)

Back on topic, I think the BP would be easier but if the bpt is from the miata then you'd have to change the oil and intake/exhaust manifolds like mattswabb said in the other thread.
