Were there many changes year to year on the Festivas? If I find one at a junk yard that is a different year, will the parts fit mine? My biggest nead is the rear spindle, but I might pull some other parts off it if they will work.

bad question.. almost everthing is interchangeable... beside carb/efi related stuff.
even aspire stuff can swap, depending what it is..

yes, most parts are interchangeable between years. The biggest changes are in the carb(87'-89')-fi(90'-93') swap. I believe the rear spindle is the same, some people even use the rear spindle off of an aspire(with a little work). I know there are some threads on here about that you could search through.89' Maroon and black Festiva LX with a sunroof. :alien:Comment

what about 89 auto efi??? Its a one yr only type of thing
Also the auto axles are differnet I hear than the stick ones...

There are several differences but the spindles will interchange. The older spindles with the hole though them are the best ones. IMO You be better off if you got the same year as yours. Either the 88-89 or the 90-93. What year is yours ?sigpic
