    i heard festiva's have a rev limiter in a manual, that cant be true can it?
    1990 Festiva L sport 26.5k miles

      I think just about every EFI engine has a rev limiter.

        my 91 has a limiter ive hit it a few times.

          My BP has a limiter... I think it's right under 8k... I've hit it a few times. :-p

            I know my carbed car with a manual with rev to atleast 7,500 RPM's!

              the carbed cars don't the EFI cars do, around 7k

                Scrappy has seen better than 8K on more than one ocasion. (scarry, but the sound is amazing)
                Trees aren't kind to me...

                    ^^^ my bone stock 93 auto will rev to 6700-6800 before the limiter kicks in.

                        I've had all my 91-92's at the 6200 mark. They wouldn't bounce any higher!

                            Mine is 6200 as well, with either the B3 or B6 (and appropriate ECM) I thought all the FI's festivas were 6200 fuel cutout, and I thought BP was 7200.
