  • My name is htchbck and I have a problem...

Just bought another car today... number five (that I currently own). Its an '89 Mazda MX-6, power everything, A/C, brand new tires... snapped timing belt. Grand total, $300 $260 for the car, $20 for the Haynes, and $20 for the belt. Going to fix it on Saturday, the guy was cool said I could fix it right there on the spot Pics on Saturday but I'm excited. And I finally got the transmission for the Taurus and the Aspire 5-speed for the L-plus. This has been a great week, but I think I'm addicted lol.
    No festiva for me ATM...

HI htchbck! Im MONSOON and I have a similar problem. Most of us here are just Festivaholics but there are some like yourself whose addiction bleeds over to other vehicles or just vehicles in general. The important thing to note however is that we're all here to help. So dont dispair. :thumbleft:

Sweet Joseph! The Mazda will probably be great for you! What is that the 12 valve 2.2? It's not turbo is it?

nope, no turbo just the single cam 12 valve, but its a sweet little car just the same, and last time I was at the pull-a-part there was a probe GT and a turbo MX6 so ya never know when there will be a turbo under the hood. I have a feeling even though this thing is an auto I will be hanging onto it for a while. The key looks just like the festiva key lol. Oh and MONSOON, will we see you at the ATL meet on March 8th in Stone Mountain?
