Cubstiva, when you have a chance could you post a little write up on what supplies you used and process you took. I'll be doing the same thing in a few months and have no experience in bodywork at all. Maybe you could help me and others shed some light on how to do a great job like you seem to be doing. Thanks

for some reason (cold weather) my primer isn't drying very fast, so my blocking is going very slowly. it keeping "gumming" up my sand paper. not much progress to show since i primed it. should be spraying color this week tho, or this weekend at the latest.Originally posted by spiko View PostI expect to see updates soon

i would but the reason i'm going with the stock maroon is to avoid all the door jams, hatch and engine bay. i don't want to open the hood to a different color.Originally posted by 25Horseplay View PostYou could send me the paint for the original color and buy some more paint!!!

i don't think it will be like it was stock or i would have just taped it off and left it alone.

Nice work, I love to see a festiva get the attention they deserve. Keep the black roof pilars.

Your work looks good. What primer/sealer are you using? I don't recognize the color. I've been debating painting my 1990 but a big change in the wind last week I'm unsure if I'll keep my car or sell it soon. (My original retirement plan might be moved up 22 months!)
