  • What color should I paint my car?

I am getting a little tired of this flat black paint. Can't wash it with out taking half the paint with it, its dirty as heck and has some coffee stained to the paint hah.

I was thinking a dark metalic green, metalic black, metalic dark grey, or Nissan 350Z blue.

I am welcome to all suggestions though, like to hear what any one else has to say.

    Thanks,
    Ian Carr

Back in the mid 80's Mazda had a color called "Tornado Silver" that I had on my '84 GLC Sport. It's a dark silver metallic and if I were doing a color change that would be my number one choice. I also had a '77 Dodge van that was black metallic with the the flecks being a gold color... really nice too.

I'm a sucker for a nice shade of blue, and there are some really nice exaples coming from various manufacturers these days.
Having said that, I would love to do up another car in silver or grey.

I like my dark metallic blue that the PO painted my car with. too bad its a craptastic Maaco/Econopaint paint job.

i always like pure white. it will stay clean and looking good, plus white hides flaws nicely and its usually cheaper to buy.
