    adding one more to the fleet...

    just got conformation of an 88 LX that i might be getting tomorrow ($400).

    runs and drives!!! woot!. this will officially put me at 8 festivas!!!

                bumpers were painted years ago, but are now fading. plastic broke on the grill, no biggie, i have spares.

                  bone stock! just like the 93 Sport i have. keepin' 'em clean (though i may eventually make the LX EFI)

                    -Escort GT 91 donor car with BP, G5M-R tranny to be dropped in the little guy...

                        ok boys, here it is!!! (more pics)






                        needs tune-up, inner rod ends, LCAs, alignment and windshield. interior needs a good cleaning behind the back seat and a few bulbs. progress report to follow.

                        ps: got 44.86 mpg on the trip back with a clogged air filter and vaccum leak (small)

                              lol....I have 3 1/4, 2 complete, 1 with the deer hit in the front from a few years now....I still swear I am fixing it and the freebie parts car I got. At least when I killed mine I ran into deers.....mine weren't sitting still and having trees jump on them...lol
