  • Going junk yarding today

I hit up 66 auto salvage by my house I never really got to get a good look at the only festiva they had there. Low and behold it had a tach, A/C, rear defrost dash button, intermintent wiper switch. It was an auto at that with 129k on it. It was cut in half but there was a very nice condition passenger door on it...broken mirror base. I picked up the white tach cluster already.

On of the guys at work says he knows of a little junkyard with a couple festivas! I'm checking them out this morning. I'll be harvesting all the goodies. Hopefully i'll stumble accross a spoiler, under tray, swoopies, cargo covers, white alloys, sport interior, split seats....the possibilities are endless!

out of five festivas all were a L package...no goodies. One yard had a protege DX with a good engine, one festiva had a tach cluster with 99k on it..other than that it was a waste of a day.

You should of grabbed the steering wheel out of the protege. They make great steering wheels for the festiva. I have one in mine festiva and I love the leather.
