  • Yesterday's Education

A couple things happened yesterday that I thought I would pass on to you guys. Several weeks ago I lost the key....yes, one key....to Levistiva, so I had to get a new one made. If this ever happens to you and you need to take a lock cylinder to the locksmith, take the passenger door tumbler. Any cylinder is better than the driver's door, as I found out.

Also, there were 1200 key combinations for Festivas from 1989 to 1993. Not sure why 1988 wasn't listed in the locksmith's database.

Ordered 4- p165/65r-13 Bridgestones for Levistiva, yesterday. I got a Firestone Employee discount from a friend which reduced the price considerably. Mounted, balanced and everything is less than $200. Now that is a good price imo!

You dont even need to take the whole lock, just write down the code on the passenger door lock and bring that in. That is what I did with one I bought from a police auction.

My buddys keys work for my car. The other day I locked my keys in my car so I just called him and he came and unlocked it for me. If my car ever comes up missing I know where to look.
