  • New Festy Fan

Hey all, I joined a couple weeks back. About time I introduce myself. I've owned a 92 Festiva for about 6 months now. A buddy of mine I worked with used to talk to me bout his Festiva a lot. He was stripping it down for new paint, had a B6T shipped in for it, etc. Well when someone I knew decided to sell his Festiva, I had a bit of interest already along with an old F250 gettin single digit mpg figures. Easy decision. Great car. Awesome mileage. And now, having sold my F250 (4x4 project), I'm taking over my buddies B6T Festiva project, buying it off of him. I'm really stoked about this project and pleasantly surprised by the support I see for these cars! My project I'm buying is all stripped down, body is ready for paint, got two 1.3 engines and trannies, B6T with turbo, motor mounts, swift clutch, etc. But anyways, that moreless how I ended up on here. Good to be here!

Sweet deal! Forums sure are a great resource for guys lookin for help, and I see no exception here! I will post some pics as well as some of my plans and ideas when I get closer to actually picking up my new Festiva. I plan to pick it up off my buddy (still in his garage) and paint it in the summer. So, still a little while yet. I've decided to call her Raltiva though, and I'll post the thread as such. I hope somebody else hasn't already called theirs that. It's because I love taking the back roads and doin back road camping trips and such, so, may as well have fun doin it eh? I see that there's a early 90's Swift that competes in the Canadian rallies...heheh...why not? FWD is fun too! But ya, anyways, I do like to ramble on...heheh...
