  • Ford Probe Turbo

I was at the pick&pull JY out of sea of probes found this 1990 stock turbo probe.

Dont really know how much these things are worth or even fit on my festiva. But do have like a $40 dollar credit. Should i even bother to get it?

you may also want to grab the intercooler and downpipe if they are cheap. it will make things easier if you decide to do a diy turbo setup on one of your cars.

              it's an IHI RHB5, VJ11 I think. Great turbo for a sub 2.0L engine.

i beleive that would be the turbo most people use to upgrade on the B6T

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

I used a vj11 on my last car when I 'charged the b3, I wouldn't suggest it for a 1.8. Was sized almost perfect for the 1.3, full boost at 2.5k but ran out of steam at about 5 or 5.5k at 10psi. It definitely made for a fun ride on the b3. I would imagine boost would come on very quickly with a bp and make an ok dd car with good bottom end, but lacking up top.

this is the pic i took before i sold it, made a turbo flange and welded it to an aspire manifold. header wrap works
