Working on "standard Festy tool kit"...

Sears has another sale (when don't they?) going on. I saw a little pack of all metric sockets and wrenches for $29 but it was a bit small and I wanted more. I also want the laser engraved nummers. Which it didn't have.

So now I'm considering this $59.99 94 pc. tool kit, for the price and the "easy to read" markings that would be a bit more important for speeding up on the road repairs:

It's not all metric, which ain't as nice since I can always add the few english sockets or whatever to my kit. I'd also not carry all the parts, and add what else I needed more for the lightest weight "general purpose" tool kit for common emergency repairs.

I'm also going to buy the $39 circular saw and they have 10 percent off all tool sales over $50.

I'll probably get it tomorrow.

The sockets are 6 point. Would that be much of a problem?

I've never had any problem using 6 point sockets on the Baron...looks good, man.

I'm gonna make another thread on this:

What are the most likely "repair scenarios" on the road that you need to be ready for?

I'll start:

1. flat tire
2. rear wheel bearings
3. battery/alternator issues
4. starter going out, needs replaced

I've had wheel bearings go out on the Mutt long ago while on a trip. I've had fears since then that they needed replaced soon, and I was ready, but didn't need to.

Everyone chime it with your "on the road repair" stories.

This should better inform my "repair tool kit" thread. Now to make that new thread!
