  • Part Number Trivia

I got a NOS Dualmatic 4x4 hub assembly. Box part number is 11003-1 or 01003-1. Has a new lockout in the box, Federal/Mogul(Bower/BCA) Bearing #362-A, Federal/Mogul(Bower/BCA) race #LM 501310, and Federal/Mogul(Bower/BCA) bearings 368-A.

Anybody know what vehicle(s) this is for. Thought maybe somebody on the site might need it. I Googled the numbers, but didn't find anything. Dualmatic was located in Longmont Colorado in the 70's and 80's but was later absorbed by WYNNs.

What is the spline count inside the hub and how many bolts hold it to the hub of the vehicle? Is it external or internal splined?

1945 to 1971 jeep cj's and commandos have 10 splines with 6 bolt mounting flange. The cj's used model 25 and model 27 front axles. Commandos used the model 27 till 1972. Jeep trucks and wagons, 1946 to 1963 use the 10 spline also and have model 25 axles. Those you have could possibly be for the 1972 to 1979 or possibly to 1980 jeeps or international scouts. I can' remember the spline count for the 1972 to 1980 Jeeps which have model 30 front axles in them, but it's more than 10. Around 1980 jeep went to a 5 bolt mounting flange with the model 30 axle.
