it runs and drives great(so they say). the top is thrashed and it looks to have hit somthing cause the airbags are blown

it is an XR2 I have talked to the guy via e-mail and he said "The motor mount is bad so it makes a clunking noise when shifting but it should run fine" I think the guy sounds honest he is having a wedding this weekend so I cannot go get it this weekend but I will be going and getting it next saturday. Now what I am wondering is

1. what tranny does it have?
2. I heard of the brakes will swap over. link to a thread please!
3. is there a thread with a list of parts that will swap over?

well now I have the choice between a 91 gt or the xr2 both $500 the capri is in better shape but either engine I decide to swap will be fully torn down and rebuilt running or not.
