So I have been trying to build a BP festiva on a very tight budget, a while ago I got the motor in and running and then then wheel bearings went out on the front, well I couln't afford much so I got aspire front hubs from nerd racing, and now I have half an aspire swap, 13's on the front and 12's on the back, anyways I could never afford to have the exhaust redone since I got the motor running and today I was driving through town in second gear and a peice in the muffler must have came loose, plugging the muffler, it made a weird noise for a second and then, boom sounded like a shotgun, and the best part about it was I was kind of racing some kids in an escort wagon, after the muffler blew I checked out and left them in the dust, then I laughed all the way home.

i put an off brand glasspack muffler on mine in the tunnel underneath tunnel where the seats are located with 2" pipe and 3" resonators. it has a deep ricey sound and actually got a lil more power out of it.

i have a similar story i just remembered, one time driving my green festiva when it still had the B3 i pulled up next to a Chevy Astro van, i knew who the other guy was... a real cocky type of person driving mommy and daddy's mini van, when the light turned green we both floored it and as i was reaching higher RPM in second gear i looked over and the van started smoking like crazy and reaked of anti-freeze
i figure he blew the rad, i laughed histaricly
