Festiva door trim question

This might be a repair forum question, if so, my apologies.

Does anyone know the best way to reattach the thick, rubber door trim on an 88 LX? I have the trim, and the door still has the foam backing on it.

You can use either a trim adhesive in a tube and smear it across the entire piece or the type that sprays on. It's held in place by the inner belt strip at the top and the trim panel at the bottom so it's pretty secure once you get it all back together. I pulled mine from a car that I bought to part out and the driver's side piece pulled loose but left some of the foam on the door. When I did the passenger side I pulled VERY slowly and it kept all of it's foam.
