First of all I would like to introduce myself, my name is Jeff. I reside in SoCal, the valley side. This is my first post and I am happy to finally be apart of the festy family. I just purchased two festies recently and have been working on them fairly often and would like to share the progress to you guys as I am building them, I am doing all the work myself and would appreciate input and opinions on my festys. thanks!
This is the automatic one i came up on:
purchased $600 runs fine+A/C
This is the 5 speed one i came up on:
purchased $350 Clutch gone+oil leak+no A/C
I began fixing mechanical areas of the 5speed first:
New Clutch+ Resurfaced flywheel
New Waterpump+tensioner+timing belt+gaskets+seals
The bodies of both cars looked like the moon's surface with craters everywhere, so i began repairing them, the 5speed had the most dents, here's what i have done so far and will be updating shortly:
