1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor
1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)
If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

Yes to both ,unless you are a fiberglass/design GOD and create your own custom kit. (I wish) Actually that gets me to thinking....SOMEONE SHOULD! I know you guys are all busy with careers and families and whatnot, but think about it! Think how much coin you could make off it. I'd do it, if I knew how to use fiberglass and if I could draw well enough to draw something like that (I can't even draw hands :'(...)it's not a lack of creativity on my part, just skill and experience!
Ok, well now you've gotten ------g silly. ~ MONSOON

Yeah, unfortunately with these cars you just have to get creative and not be afraid to try something new. Pretty much anything can be done if you have the determination. Also check out Cam Waugh's car, it's amazing!

to ffesti...my brother is a artist and tattoo artist and he told me that drawing hands is an advanced skill...so dont feel bad...lol...and fiberglass resin and matting isnt hard to work with....becuz you get to sand it down and add thin coats of body filler to smoothe it out....i think it would be fairly easy to mod a stock bumper...they sell universal air vents and stuff like that....even chopping a jy bumper in half and attaching it to the bottom of a stock bumper then molding it together would give it a 1 of a kind custom flair...imo

Man I hate to bust any bubbles but I have looked into recreating reproduction parts in fg for older obsolete stuff and can tell you from experience that there is not enough of a demand to get set up to do it properly and legally and make any money for your time invested.
Really if there was money to be made (profit) don't you think one of the companies that is set up to make this stuff would be all over it?
Around here if I were to say make a spoiler in fiberglass in my garage here at home and then accept anything in trade/payment for it I would be creating what could be a huge mess.
My home owners insurance just became void, they do not cover business stuff when done in a residential zoned area, especially when it comes to the hazardous materials involved. If any one of my neighbors turned me in for what ever the city would freak out, osha would have a hay day. It would be a very ugly expensive mess. Not to mention all liabilities that are involved after the sale that the manufacturer is responsible for. This is why we have coffee cups with cautions on them now :scratch:Hotrod Forums Directory * D&D Discbrakes 61-67 Econoline Conversions
