Where is the best place to pick up one of those 2 or 3 piece tool chests for cheap? Doesn't have to be a name brand as long as its not too junky.

I think I saw an ad for one that was a $300 set on sale for $150 at Harbor Freight or Northern.

          I bought a 3 piece Craftsman 8 years ago.
          5 drawer roller base.
          3 drawer intermediate section.
8 drawer top with flip lid.
          Craftsman badge...stamped Waterloo.
The middle section was free...had a couple of coupons...paid about $299.
I love it....no big drawers or cabinet doors in the base that you have to dig thru.

There are places call Tool Chest that have pretty good. Walmart has stanley tools that i haven't had any problems with. Try K=Mart, they were bought out by Sears and have stanley and craftsman.

Other way around; K-Mart owns Sears.

Waterloo boxes are sufficient. I've had Craftsman branded Waterloos for 15 years, 5 years daily use. I bought the boxes with ball-bearing slides. Never had a single problem with them.

I also have a US General roll cab box from Harbor Freight. Chinese made, but I've been very impressed with it.

Yeah I looked around on craigslist there were some good deals but nothing real close and the one I did like was already snatched up. I think I might go with the harbor freight ones, I think they are the best bang for your buck. Thanks guys!
