  • An Aspire part-out question

I'm thinking about picking up an Aspire for parts. I would be taking everything for a brake swap, plus the motor, transmission and seats. Oh yeah, also the wheels and tires.
How much can I reasonably expect to make off the remainder if I try to do a part-out? The car is in decent condition other than the fuel pump. Would it be overly optimistic to hope to get around $200 back?

I know there are a lot of variables, I'm just trying to get a general idea of whether I can make this project fit into my budget.

By the time I get it home my total expense will be about $500. I know that's not alot, but I'm on a very meager budget for this, and have other expenses to get the car done.

Well, looks like it's a no-go. The guy thought he could deliver the car, but can't. He's 3 hours away and I don't have a truck. Back to the drawing board. I just posted a WTB on Craigslist. Hopefully I can find another one.
