  • prom, lol ill go next year

so my prom was yesterday but i didn't go because my gf and me broke up so i was like hey why not do a little work on the festiva little did i know it would end up being 15 hours worth of work and alot of frustration.... yesterday 1230 starting making templates for my tint,400 ripping tint out because of to many creases and i hate creases, 430 returning tint picking up wheel paint break caliper paint and touch up paint, 500 start taking wheels off, wash sand wash let dry tape paint inside and out, 1000 watch las vages supercross 130 go to bed, today 1230 keep working on wheels while paint is drying i put my decals on which look pretty sweet! frustration strikes again and 1 of my wheels start 2 run and i have to re-sand and re-paint with 9 coats of paint, while all the calipers and drums and wheels are drying i go in do ap hist homework which i cant even concentrate on because im so excited for my wheels to dry.... they are finally dry and all i had left to do were minor touch ups and clean up, what i learned from this is that i now know why my dad always complains about his back hurting lol..... i was so happy when i was done and the tire shine topped it off! as i read this it makes no sense what so ever but ohh well i dont know why i even wrote this to tell you the truth... probably to get me out of doing some anatomy homework

Your festiva is the "girl" for you ....she won't complain if you beat her......she will be with you forever if you take care of her.....she won't talk back...at least not in a pesky way....Good luck with it man.

I think you should post some pictures up of what you completed this weekend. I think 9 coats if overkill on the wheels, but the more the merrier I guess. When I did mine I did 3 coats of color and 3 coats of clear and they held up extremely well.

Heck, I just put one coat on my front aspire rims, just one coat of flat black spray paint, and then painted the lugs with chrome spray paint. Been on there almost a week, and they are holding up really good.

prom sucked for me, all it was was: bad music being blasted for 3 hours, watching all the orange girls think they're hot, and eating crappy food...

oh yeah; night of my life -rolls eyes-
