  • I'm back... and an apology

First things first... A couple of months ago I sent festiva_tunner a power mirror switch which he never received probably due to the USPS losing it out of its envelope (had that happen before). I informed him I would send it out the next morning, which I never got around too, and it kinda fell by the wayside along with everything else in my life for the past month or so. I sent another one out this morning though. So festiva_tunner this is my public apology to you, and if ya ever need any other festiva bits and piece off my parts car just let me know, and sorry it took so long to get that switch to ya (I sent it in a heavy duty envelope this time.

Anyway, I am back... I've been psuedo festiva-less for the past month or so and I've been working 80+ hours per week between my two jobs and I haven't had time for much else. The upside is that with all the overtime from my day job and all the extra tips from pizza delivery I now have a little extra cash to invest in my car addiction... The white festiva has been on loan to the girl I sold the taurus too since the newly rebuilt trans in the taurus decided to randomly blow up (as tauruses are apt to do). She has fallen in love with it and I traded it to her for the taurus back (going to SHO it this summer hopefully) since I really want a 5-speed festiva anyway. And just this past week I found her She's an '88 LX 5-speed with every option but the rear wiper (including a hatch cover with all the hardware intact). Anyway, long story short the cam had seized and sheered off the pin and broken the bolt that holds the timing gear... well I got it to run tonight! Time to eat dinner now, but I'll update with the rest of the details later this evening, including pics of the 13"x5.5" 4x114.3 wheels on it which I have yet to identify. Oh and check the for sale forums soon for most of the LX parts since I don't really need them as I will be swapping over most of the stuff from my old car anyway
    No festiva for me ATM...
