i've had 15"s and that was pushing it, i've seen pics of 16"s and heard of someone putting on 17"s, but i would want anymore than 15"s any bigger and it starts to looks weird

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

Once when I had my car up on stands we bolted a set of 19's to it. Pretty much as soon as the tires hit the ground they were hittin. I like the look of my 15's. Pretty much the limit with no mods/no rubbing.

Gomez, I've seen yours before but can't remember the details. What size 15s are you running? No mods?

i thought about jacking up my festiva and putting one of my 20" rims in the wheel wells (they won't bolt on, different bolt pattern) just for the picture

I have 16x7 with 205/40/16 tires. I wouldn't get any bigger than that. They
look big, but not stupid huge. The diameter of the tire is 1 inch taller than stock.

i was always a guy who liked huge rims on cars....so i automatically wanted the biggest rims i could fit on a festy (although i dont have a festy yet) but i have to admit, the more i look at the festy i think the smaller rims look better....plus it brings it closer to the floor...i wanna see if i can find rims like the one's on the green car in my sig.

I ran the same setup at Gomez... My car was lowered too with the FMS springs (which lowers about 1.25" or so) and I didn't rub.

I went with 13's on Casper though with 175/50 tires. It lowered the car another inch without having to do anything (except re-calculate the MPH that I'm going! :-P)

some one told me about a year ago that you have to make sure that the rime clears the caliper, ect. i do not know how true this is.

Simon, you ran 15' with the fms setup?

                              ...

I've been eying some wheel shops, but 15" is the smallest they carry. NOOOOOO looks like I'm going to be spendings $1300 soon.
