Finally got my Festiva on the road today after a long battle against the previous owner`s work =p.
Had to rip out probably 20 feet of wiring that he had added to the car for his accessories, 3 power inverters, 2 in front, 1 in back, and 3 cigarette lighters 2 in the backseat. An additional up front, these were all just stuffed into the fuse box on various fuses.
Back hatch was held down by a rope bolted to the floor and tied to the front seat, lock and hardware was missing for hatch and the rear stop light. Put passenger side seat onto the track properly. Rewired the rad fan...
Did a full tune up, new plugs, plug wires, fuel filter, oil change, tranny top-up, read drum-brakes and some other minor repairs.
before it would run for 5 mins, and stall, then it wouldnt start for 30 mins. now it is running nice and smooth
soo excited to get this thing on the road finally.
