Festivas? If you want me to be honest here it is. I'm 18, I drive a 91' GL, and do you think that stops me from being a wannabe BA with it. Really, I drive like a mad man, and it drives my gf crazy. Someone gets racey with me...I bloody well get racey back. I screech my tires and peel out. I got tinted windows. No matter what car you give him, if hes got any balls, eventually he'll get confident enough to try and be BA to other cars around him...it's called "TESTOSTERONE".

        The back seets...

Also make sure they don't remove the back seats...or they will do notty things with the opposite gender there ;-), unless you dont care if they do that. I got in trouble for doing those sorts of things once, then when I got my Festiva, my gf's mom was like "Hahaha, you won't have room to doit in that car, hahaha." Little did she know...we already had, lol. Protecting virginity...hehe, cars vs. hormones....who wins? Hormones...duh!

I had hared enough times with girls when I was 16, I dont think a festiva would have helped.

Automatic festivas are geared faster I think, I've got a stock engine ATX that'll hit 105, I don't know the MTX's do, but theyre geared for milleage...less peppy.

Man, he's never gonna be allowed to forget that one, is he?

Seriously, I would have no problem, in theory, letting my 16 y/o twins have Festivas as their first car. I say in theory because all the teaching and training in the world will not help them when some idiot rams into them at 40 or 50 mph.
