using brake cleaner on spark plugs

i was watching roland leonge fire up his old funny car last weekend and they flooded out the engine then he removed the spark plugs and turned the motor over the get some of the excess nitro out but then he took some spray brake cleaner and cleaned the spark plugs out and put them back into the funny car moter and it fired right up.

has anyone used brake cleaner to clean wet spark plugs before?

should work the brake clean will push the fuel off and then evaporate dry - I would be leary if a residue is left over repeated use - remember a funny car motor is torn down and gone through quite often

When I was little I had a honda minitrail bike that liked to flood. I always used starter fluid to clean the plug.
