just take a look at what screws hold the circuit board to the housing, remove those ones and swap over the US circuit board, it's not as hard to do as you'd think

    1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
    1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

FestivaGTX did that write up you might try to PM him for pics. But there is another way that I did this swap. I took the circuit board off a US tach dash and put it on the 110mph tach dash and it plugged right in!

Yes but will it actually go up to the 110 or does the circuit board actually have anything to do with the speedo?

The circuit board has nothing to do with the speedo. The speedo is mechanicaly controled so yes the speedo will actually go to 110mph. And useing a US circuit board everything works as it should, the only thing is the check engine light is somewhat different.

I did mine with the circuit board swap. The only oddity is that the check engine light is now the door ajar light!. Not a problem, just an annoyance.

I am the owner of this car and cluster now and was wondering if anyone knows what the light with the little red triangle inside a big red triangle means? I searched but didnt find anything. It started to turn on and off once in a wile and Im just curious as to what it means. Anyone know?? Ill try to remember to get a pic next time it comes on.
