  • New daily driver 1984 Pontiac Fiero

And I love it. 81k 4 banger. Very well mantained car with a 4 speep manual trans. I'll try to get some pics up later. Wow I love driving this car. LOTS of fun. Sits low great gearing plenty of weird stuff you never see on a car. Like the speakers are in the headrest!

Can't wait for pics, if it's the body style I'm thinking of, I'll love it. I've always wanted one.

Make sure you have a fire extinguisher in there at all times.

Just kidding. Drove one those a couple of times back in the day. Lots of fun. Congrats!

That is some very low miles guy, can't wait to see the pics!
Did you get an SE with a sunroof? When you pull that sunroof out, it actually stows away in these neat holders, that are built in, just under the front hood!
I had bought one new in 84 when they first came out, a black se. Got this one used sometime later, it's a 1987 gt. They came with a 2.8 liter v6. I'm getting ready to turbocharge this one, just now assembling the components.
Just pulled it out to wash it, check out the dust lol:

That's how they did the factory manifold and valve covers back in the day!

I've got the aspire put away till next winter, so this is sharing the summertime duties with the mazda 323...

I had an 87 GT (v6, auto) and really liked it. Handled nice, good power, comfortable and even drove well in the snow.

You know, the miata also has head rest speakers. I loved the Fiero! Especially that funky e-brake handle. Pull it up 'til it's set... then it goes back down against the side of the seat so you can get in and out.

The biggest issue I remember hearing about was over-heating. Seems the hosing between the radiator and engine would easily get air into them. SO make sure you keep the radiator topped off at all times.

Want to get crazy with your Fiero? Check this out.

I almost bought one that needed an engine and thought of doing this. It was pretty rough and I really didn't want to put that much into it (it WAS pretty bad).

But then I discovered this site and...
