  • Behind a Festiva.

Anytime we are out in my or my girl friends festiva people cant stand to be behind us. We could be doing 20 MPH over the speed limit and people just HAVE to pass us. Its as if its some kind of shame to be behind a festiva.

It doesnt happen in any other car just the Festivas, we just dont get any respect.

what really irritates me about that; once they get in front of you, they go slower than you were! I regularly do 70-75 on I95 everyday, to and from work. These jack-holes speed to 80-90 to get around me, then drop to 65-70! How the frick does that make sense? And I'm usually in the center lane. It's not like I'm a left-lane-camper...

If Festiva parts weren't so rare, I'd say slam on the brakes and collect some insurance money

I never understood it either. I pass up suvs so I can see around them when driving a tiny car. Its pretty much a safety thing. Then they romp and stomp the pedal @ 1mpg to go around me yet again. The cycle continues...

what i like to do is find a slow driver and stay with them blocking them in behind us... then when they change lanes to kinda force the other driver to speed up so they can go ahead of us i speed up like i'm gonna drive off then when they jump in my lane i slow down real quick blocking them back again... i do this till they give up or turn off or well i can't any more but it's always fun....

It is annoying to see that makes you change lights, even when in the center channel, and the average velocity ...

No brake ... but lift the foot from the accelerator!!!

Thats funny. Theres this hill near me with a passing lane and it never fails everytime Im coming up on the passing lane someones on my butt and everytime I drop into 4th and pull away on the hill. I love it. I usuallt see a big puff of smoke come out there tail pipe because they floor it trying to keep up. Its become like a game now. Ill do like 55mph at the bottom of the grade and at the top Ill be doing like 75. Fun!!! Its a steep hill about 2 miles long. I love my b6 swap. I cant wait for a bp!!

The ones I hate are the idiots who pass me when I'm in the right lane and then jack on their brakes so they can make their exit. What's up with that? I know they can see their exit coming up, so why don't they just pull in behind me? But NOOOO! they have to come flying up doing 90 then jump in front of me and slow down to 40, forcing me to either slam on my brakes or jump into the other lane. If I do switch lanes, I usually pass them before they make the turn proving that they haven't saved even a second with their dim-bulb maneuver

I seriously think they do this on purpose hoping that I hit them.

This happens to me in lots of different cars, but much more often when I'm in my Festiva.

Good to know I'm not the only one. Ticks me off bad. But it's so difficult to road rage in a Stiva.
