Behind a Festiva.

I call it the "gotta be first syndrome" sadly its a very common affliction. Its not just festys either .. people will pass me in my pickup and even my 70 caddy only to slow down after they get by. Often I end up pulling out to go by them and they speed up not wanting to be passed. If I'm in the caddy sometimes I use the 472 v8 to educate them lol, most the time I just slow down and figure I'm safer getting away from them. Another symptom of the dumbing down of america.

The ones I hate are the idiots who pass me when I'm in the right lane and then jack on their brakes so they can make their exit. What's up with that? I know they can see their exit coming up, so why don't they just pull in behind me? But NOOOO! they have to come flying up doing 90 then jump in front of me and slow down to 40, forcing me to either slam on my brakes or jump into the other lane. If I do switch lanes, I usually pass them before they make the turn proving that they haven't saved even a second with their dim-bulb maneuver

I seriously think they do this on purpose hoping that I hit them.

This happens to me in lots of different cars, but much more often when I'm in my Festiva.

Could not agree more. If I ever go Michael Douglas/Falling Down, that right there will be the cause of it. Have had them not even start their pass until the exit ramp has started. Then they'll try to zip by and still make the exit. WTF??

I would like to say that I slow down and let them in.......Right!!

The funny thing is... I'm actually from the town where the London Bridge was reconstructed. When I first saw that movie, I about fell out of my chair!

I was always the one passing them (I'm a speeder)

I'm with you on that one but if i know my exit on the highway is coming up i'll be considerate to go in behind the other traffic instead of racing in front of them to slow them down to make my exit

This all happens to me on a daily basis , and is one of the things that make the wife and I have heated arguments .

It never fails ..15 over and the person behind me just rides my rear , then passes me , then slows or wants to turn at the next road .I will never understand this .

I know it happens all the time and I am always on the defense .

when I see someone coming now , I just speed and close the gap so that does not happen , I give nobody a break .

What I really think is funny is when I have my uniform on and they attempt to pass and they look over and then they instantly slow and get back behind me ..LOL

I have seen several cars with lic. plates that resemble the ones that he had on his car.

Oh yes, the repass. Then there are the people who see you coming but pull out in front of you anyway. A lot of times I can anticipate when they are going to do it and start flashing my lights usually to no avail. Thats when I wish I had the sonic blaster air horn.

what i find really annoying is when i try to pass someone, then they look over and step on the gas so i cant pass.
