Front wheel bearing - Going... Going!

I started noticing a whine coming from the front end a few weeks back. I suspected one of the front wheel bearings. I finally got around to jacking up the front end and running the wheels. The driver's side is the culpret.

Looks like I'll be changing them out, but probably won't get to it until July.

Since the subject of how to change out the front bearings comes up quite often on this board, I think I'll take lots of pictures and write up a procedure. Unless someone has written one up that I have missed.
