If you bought it for a BP swap, you could use the festiva harness so the electrical damage the escort has would not be a concern, the fact it is an auto, i think the TPS maybe different, but i got one kicking around

I'd talk him down a little bit and you'd have a great donor car

Even thats not a bad price you could make most of your money back from left over parts

Update

Just got in with the car.

Turns out it is a 5 speed

108,000 miles

No rust, but ragged out.

Good for parts only.

Another donor BP and trans for a Festiva.

The wire that is burned looks to be near the starter.

Hope to repair that and start over the weekend.
