  • Festiva in a high speed chase

So the local dumpy auto place has a festiva for sale. beautiful 89L with no rust no dings no nothing. I opened the door because i was curious to see why there was still all this crap left over from the previous owner. Golf clubs, weight belt, gun targets, when i picked up a document of about 10 pages. A police report. This festiva had been in an alcohol fueled police chase topping out at around 75MPH according to the officer. I instantly fell in love. Anyone else have any good festy stories. Im gonna pick this beast up depending on the ease of switching from carb to an efi B6D. Any help there (yes i have it up in the engine forum too).

in a world of ricers and high gas prices, whats a boy who craves a muscle car to do? Buy a Festiva!

That's pretty cool to find out your new car has a police record. I believe one of the project Festivas at FMS was a carbed B6. Not sure if their write up is still on there or not.

I know that Festivas aren't exactly the slowest things on the road, but what would make a person (no matter how drunk) think that they're going to outrun the police in one?

I don't even care if it has a blown BP in it. You still can't outrun the radio.
