                    Your only clue is that there are two of them in every Festiva.

                    • They look like they adjust something, headlight adjustment bolts?

                        They do serve a very special purpose. But, not to adjust headlights. Again, there are only two of them in every car.

                        • they are the bolts for the ignition switch to the column, they are meant to twist the head off at a certain torque to keep you from removing the switch easliy. its a security bolt thing.

                          • I had to cut slots in mine with a grinder and a hack saw to pull the switch and key tumbler out when i parted out my 96 aspire.

                                They are shear bolts. Expensive. $4 each. I needed them to transfer my ignition switch to my tilt steering column.
