  • Worth of my festy?

How much would you consider my 91 Festiva GL to be worth?
How much would be a considerable asking price and what would you ask for out of it if you were selling it?

I'm just wondering how much i could get out of it

    It runs fine
    5 speed
completely stock with near perfect interior
    Very clean exterior

Check my cardomain to see the photos

Also primered my rims black so that they don't look as surface rusted as they did

I'm thinking i can get more then just 700 out of it
It's very clean and nice and when i first purchased it I showed it off on here and people thought it was very clean and a steal so I was thinking i would be able to maybe get a little something out of it

Yeah, we find that happens a lot!
Some one gets a festiva, its relatively clean but doesn't run, so they come here get it up and running with help from people here and then try to sell it for a hugh profit.
Nothing wrong with that mind you, if you can pull it off!
There is at least one other here who missed the inflated festiva price rise last year and is still holding on to it because he wants too much for it!
        Good luck.

Well I've never seen a car from 1991 so clean
I have no rust on the underside or anything
It's super clean and i think i can get something out of it
I like my little festy but i need something a little bigger

Also the car is running and in good order so i think i should be worth a good amount or atleast a tiny bit higher then the price i paid for her which i think was a giant steal

What it's worth is one of those tricky questions. What it's worth to you, and what it's worth to someone else are very likely two entirely different amounts. My suggestion would be, if you really want to sell it, figure out what you want to get out of it, and make that your asking price. If it is worth that amount, you will sell it. If it is not, then you won't.

I would probably go no higher than 800.00, but that's just me. Someone else might go higher. Just gotta decide what you want to get out of it. And then hope you can find someone who will pay you that amount.

Throw it up on ebay and let's all see. Or you could wait until gas goes way up and sell then. If you don't have to have the money for the "bigger vehicle" and you want to make the most you can then wait for gas to go back up.

The market value of a Festiva is directly linked to the price of gas. I bought mine at the top of the gas prices back in October last year. Based on the values now I paid way too much but back then not so much so. Hang on to it. The demand will grow again.

                      To bad it's not yellow.

I would go about 700.00 for a car like that with no rust and running.

Nice looking car. I notice from the pix, the car has no tach in the cluster. Is that right for a MTX?

It's common to have no tach. L's had no tachs.

Tachs only came in 88-89 LX's and 90 models.
