A friend is hunting for a std shift V6 Aerostar. Does anyone know if they even made stick V6 Aerostars?

Wow, thanx, that was fast! Workvans = those without side windows I guess. This guy is not beyond converting one, tho, and I've found a nice looking one in OH. Any idea if the stick workvans only came with the 3.0 motor? (Just thinking ahead for eventual bellhousing compatibility etc.)

I remember a few manual trans Aerostars back in the mid 80s, all were 2.3L 4cyl. And I know of one that became a 2.3L turbo.....Jim DeAngelis

Except for the later model transmissions. At least from the few that I've known of.
