Finding those "missing" articles or posts

I found that some older posts had "disappeared" but then discovered where they'd gone! When you are on each forum's page there is a spot at the bottom called "Display Options" that has three selection boxes; one for "sorted by" , one for "sort order" and the third for "from the" . It appears that the default setting for the "from the" box is "last year" so you won't see any posts older than 12 months. Change the setting in the "from the" box to "beginning" and, voila, the missing articles magically appear.
