I was really hoping to get a little more traveling and wrenching in this summer (as it is this will only be the 4th festiva swap I'm getting my hands dirty on this summer) but I too have been super busy... however assuming we get this sukka running tomorrow it will be the 2nd B6 swap I've got running this week!

So far I have decided I like my MTX no AC swaps best
siezed up B3 is out, trany/TC separated, B6 is mostly prepped for install. Few more things in the morning, and time to install the B6.

Had some issues getting the TC off, seing as the B3 was siezed (so much rust in the crank case that nothing was going to move) we couldn't get to the TC to flywheel bolts by rotating the crank so we pulled the oil pan, oil pump, main and rod caps, and then used a Big Frendly Hammer to ease the rear main oil seal plate into spliting in two so we could get to the bolts. A bit of a pain, but it worked XD

Pics to come after were finished...

And a BFH is a must in every tool box.
